The Hole Report (also known as The Hole Story) is a regular segment of the podcast Boonta Vista. The segment focuses on holes and hole-related news.
The Hole Report was first proposed by Theo prior to the episode 737-Odd Lb-Ft of Torque. The first stinger for the segment, created by Theo, was played in that episode, though the segment itself did not debut until the following bonus episode Boonta Vista: Origins: Horseshoe Beery when it was introduced as “The Hole Story”.
The segment was originally introduced with The Hole Report Theme (2020) which was created by Theo from commentary audio from a golf game. The segment stinger was later changed to a song, The Hole Report Theme, which remains the current stinger as of 2025. The 2020 stinger was accidentally used for a The Hole Report segment in 2025 episode 150 Holes Filled???.
